PET bottled water equipment

Purified Water Filling Line

A purified water filling line should be balanced from treatment output and treated-water storage through PET bottle filling, labeling and packing. Capacity selection must consider the reference bottle, net production hours, cleaning, downstream efficiency and the utilities available at the site.

Project fit

Who This Line Is Suitable For

Use these points to confirm whether this configuration matches your procurement scope.

  • Purified drinking water plants requiring automatic PET bottle filling.
  • Projects that need complete line coordination from treatment output to finished packs.
  • Buyers who want a quotation based on real bottle and packing requirements.

Recommended Configuration

Main system Automatic rinsing filling capping monoblock for PET bottled water
Capacity range 2000BPH to 24000BPH, selected by bottle size and production plan
Line scope Filling machine only or complete line from water treatment to packing
Controls PLC and touch screen control, customized according to project requirements
Quotation basis Bottle sample, cap type, label type, packing method, capacity and destination

Typical Technical Parameters

Bottle material PET bottle
Water type Still bottled water, purified water, mineral water or spring water
Bottle volume Common 330ml to 2000ml, confirmed by bottle drawing or sample
Filling method Gravity or micro-negative pressure filling according to project requirements
Cap type Plastic screw cap, confirmed by cap sample
Automation Automatic bottle conveying, rinsing, filling, capping and downstream integration

Bottle Size Compatibility

Bottle sizes 330ml, 500ml, 1L, 1.5L, 2L and customized PET bottle sizes
Bottle shape Round or square bottles can be reviewed from drawing or samples
Neck finish Confirmed before selecting rinsing grippers, filling valve alignment and capping head
Changeover Change parts depend on bottle size range and production schedule

Balance Treatment Output with the Bottling Plan

Treatment capacity, treated-water storage and filler demand should be checked as one operating system. The design basis should include production hours, cleaning use, storage strategy and the good-bottle output required per shift.

Purified Water Line Interfaces

Interface Planning Question Quotation Output
Raw-to-treated water What source analysis and finished-water requirement apply? Treatment boundary and information still required.
Storage-to-filler How will treated water be stored and transferred hygienically? Tank, piping and filler connection scope.
Bottle-to-pack Which bottle, label and pack formats will run? Change parts, downstream speeds and conveyor plan.
Utilities-to-operation What power, air, water and drainage are available? Utility schedule and buyer preparation list.

Prevent a Downstream Bottleneck

A filler can only deliver saleable output when bottle supply, cap feeding, labeling, packing and finished-pack removal keep pace. Ask for rated-speed assumptions and conveyor accumulation around the labeler and packer.

  • Use one reference bottle and pack format when comparing supplier speeds.
  • Confirm material replenishment for caps, labels, film or cartons.
  • Check finished-pack discharge and pallet staging in the workshop layout.
  • Separate treatment, filling, packing and local building exclusions in the quotation.

Purified Water RFQ Inputs

Provide the water source information available, bottle and cap drawings, target good bottles per shift, line scope, label, pack, destination, voltage and workshop dimensions. This allows the proposal to state assumptions instead of presenting a generic equipment package.

Buyer questions

Questions Buyers Ask Before Quotation

How should treatment capacity be matched to the filling line?

Use the operating schedule, treatment recovery, cleaning demand, storage strategy and required good-bottle output. Do not equate filler nameplate BPH directly with treatment-system capacity.

Is treated-water storage part of the filling machine?

Usually it is a separate upstream interface. The quotation should state whether storage tanks, pumps, hygienic piping and controls are included or excluded.

Can a purified water line start with manual packing?

It can at lower output when labor and finished-bottle handling are realistic. At higher BPH, packing and material flow can become the actual line constraint.

What should be confirmed before a complete-line quote?

Confirm water source, target product, bottle and cap, reference BPH, label, pack, workshop, utilities, destination and the boundary between supplier and local work.
