The final equipment list depends on line scope. A machine-only offer may be correct for an existing plant, while a new factory usually needs more equipment around the filler.

What Changes from 2000BPH to 24000BPH?

Capacity changes more than the filler model. Higher BPH usually increases conveyor buffer, labeler speed, packing automation, utility demand and operator planning.

  • 2000/3000BPH: compact layout and simpler packing may be acceptable.
  • 5000BPH: labeler speed, shrink wrapping and conveyor buffer need attention.
  • 10000BPH: downstream packing and material supply should be planned together.
  • 18000/24000BPH: high-speed layout, finished pack discharge and utilities become engineering issues.

Missing Equipment Warning

Minimum Technical Document Package

Equipment is easier to install, accept and maintain when the document scope is listed beside the machine scope. Required formats, languages and submission stages should be agreed in the order documents.

Many commissioning problems occur between packages rather than inside one machine. Put every interface in a register with design input, owner, due date and approval status.

Is water treatment always included?

No. Some buyers already have treatment. The quotation should state whether treatment equipment or only a treatment interface is included.

Is bottle blowing required?

Only if you plan to make PET bottles in-house. If you buy empty bottles, bottle feeding and conveying may be enough.

Are conveyors included in machine-only quotes?

Often no. Ask for conveyor scope and length to be listed clearly.

Can packing equipment be added later?

Yes, but reserve layout space and conveyor interfaces early.

Is an air conveyor included with the filling machine?

It may be part of a complete-line quote but is not guaranteed in a machine-only price. Confirm length, supports, filters or blowers, interface height and controls in the equipment list.

Do I need an inspection machine?

Inspection scope depends on project requirements and automation level. Define which bottle, fill, cap, label, code or pack conditions must be checked and whether the inspection is automatic or operator-based.

What spare and change parts should appear in the equipment list?

Separate commissioning spares, routine wear parts, critical parts and format-specific change parts. Each item should be linked to a machine model, bottle or cap format and identifiable part reference.

Which documents should be included with a bottled water filling line?
