What Makes the Line Automatic?
Automation is not one switch. A line may have automatic filling but manual packing, or automatic labeling but manual bottle loading. The quotation should state which areas are automated.

When Manual Packing Is Still Acceptable
Manual packing may be acceptable on smaller lines if labor is available and output is moderate. At higher speeds, manual discharge often creates unstable line operation even if the filler itself can run faster.
- 2000BPH and 3000BPH projects may start with simpler packing if budget is controlled.
- 5000BPH projects should check whether labor can keep up with finished bottle flow.
- 10000BPH and above usually need stronger packing automation and conveyor buffer.
Downtime and Line Balance
A fully automatic line can still lose output if cap feeding, label supply, film replacement or carton discharge stops frequently. Capacity should be planned around the whole line, not only the filler.

Does automatic mean the whole line needs no operators?
No. Operators are still needed for material supply, inspection, alarms, cleaning and packing supervision.
When does automatic packing become necessary?
It becomes important when finished bottle flow is too fast for stable manual packing, commonly around stronger regional and industrial capacities.
Can I start with manual packing and upgrade later?
Yes, but reserve layout space and conveyor interfaces before the first line is installed.
What automation details should I send?
Send capacity, bottle size, label type, packing method, available labor and whether this is a new factory or existing line upgrade.
Does an automatic filling line still need operators?
Yes. Operators are still needed for supervision, materials, quality checks, packing or pallet handling, cleaning and maintenance. Automation changes the tasks and staffing plan rather than removing all labor.
What equipment is synchronized in an automatic line?
Depending on scope, controls coordinate bottle supply, air conveyor, monoblock, flat conveyors, labeler, coder, inspection and packer through start, stop, alarm and accumulation signals.
Can an automatic line run when the packer stops?
Only for a limited time if suitable accumulation is available. The control philosophy and conveyor buffer should protect the filler from short stops without causing excessive bottle pressure.
