Before Machine Arrival

Installation readiness should be checked before shipment, not after the container arrives.

  • Confirm equipment layout and unloading route.
  • Prepare power, compressed air, water supply and drainage.
  • Prepare local workers, forklift or lifting equipment if needed.
  • Prepare bottles, caps, labels, film or cartons for trial running.
  • Assign operators and maintenance staff for training.

Installation Checklist Table

Use this table to divide supplier preparation and buyer site preparation.

Site Readiness

Area Buyer Preparation Why It Matters
Utilities Power, air, water and drainage ready near equipment. Prevents commissioning delay.
Trial materials Bottle, cap, label, film, carton and treated water prepared. Needed for real production testing.
Operators Production and maintenance staff available. Training should happen during commissioning.
Tools and safety Basic tools, cleaning area and safe access prepared. Supports adjustment and maintenance.
Spare parts storage Dry storage for spare parts and documents. Prevents loss or damage after startup.

Approve Documents Before Shipment

Site work should follow approved project information. Before shipment, reconcile the final equipment list with the layout, utility schedule, connection points and responsibility schedule.

Pre-Shipment Document Check

Document What to Confirm Site Action
Final layout Machine orientation, conveyor direction, maintenance space and package flow. Mark foundations, doors, columns and unloading route.
Utility schedule Voltage, connected load, air, water, drainage and connection locations. Prepare local distribution and verify actual supply.
Equipment and packing list All machines, accessories, change parts, tools, spares and package numbers. Plan receiving, inventory and protected storage.
Responsibility schedule Who installs, connects, supplies trial materials, trains and accepts. Book local contractors, operators and lifting equipment.

Prepare Commissioning Materials and Acceptance Records

Commissioning should use the agreed bottle, cap, label, pack and water conditions. Record open items and accepted results against the contracted scope rather than treating machine power-on as project completion.

  • Prepare enough approved bottles or preforms, caps, labels, ink, film or cartons for setup and trial running.
  • Confirm treated water, utilities, drainage and material replenishment are stable before the agreed test.
  • Assign named production, maintenance and quality personnel for training and sign-off.
  • Record settings, remaining corrective items, responsible party and agreed completion evidence.
  • Collect manuals, drawings, software or parameter backups, spare-parts lists and training records before handover.

Buyer questions

Questions Buyers Ask Before Quotation

What should be ready before a bottled water filling line arrives?

The approved layout, unloading route, utilities, drainage, local workers, lifting equipment, trial materials, operators and secure parts storage should be prepared.

Who connects power, air, water and drainage?

The contract should assign responsibility. Machine connection and local plant distribution are often separate tasks, so each connection point and responsible party should be listed.

What materials are needed for commissioning?

Prepare the approved bottles or preforms, caps, labels, coding consumables, packing materials and treated water for the formats included in the commissioning scope.

What should be recorded at handover?

Record accepted formats and tests, operating settings, open corrective items, training, manuals, drawings, backups, spare parts and the person responsible for each remaining action.

Review Site Readiness Before Shipment

Send the equipment scope, workshop layout, destination voltage and available utilities. We can identify the information needed before installation and commissioning are scheduled.
